The Star Focus 18 Nov. 2007: Green light to green leaves

AFTER a wait of four years, green-minded Malaysians will finally be able to buy locally produced food that's certified organic from farm to table by next year.

Concerned that Malaysians could be duped into paying a premium price for food that is not really organic, the Department of Agriculture is working out the standards to accredit collectors, wholesalers, distributors and retailers of all organic products.
