Confused by the different organic certification marks in the market?

Malaysia grows as well as import organic products, certified by different certification bodies worldwide. There are many different organic certification marks found on products in the market today. It is difficult for operators to explain them. It is also not necessary for consumers to know the technical differences and get confused by them. What is important to know is, is the certification credible?

>Organic Alliance Malaysia (OAM) understands the need for a common symbol to help consumers identify credible certified organic products when purchasing an organic product. Hence OAM is inviting interested graphic designers to submit their design of a mark to be used in the Organic Malaysia market mark scheme to be launched soon in 2008.
